Chicago, Street Player / Window Dreamin’ (1979, S CBS 12 8040), 12″, VG+/EX

12‑inch UK CBS pressing of Chicago’s “Street Player” / “Window Dreamin’”, issued in 1979 as catalogue number S CBS 12 8040. This is the standard promotional/retail configuration supplied in the generic CBS die‑cut company sleeve, complete with the original track‑information sticker.

The sleeve shows mild edge wear, light creasing, and typical ageing consistent with CBS company sleeves from this era. Labels are clean and well‑preserved. The vinyl itself presents extremely well: visually around VG+, but play‑tested to Excellent, with a strong, noise‑free playback and no groove damage. These 12‑inch CBS singles are increasingly scarce in clean condition, and this copy represents a solid collector‑grade example.
