Erasure — Drama! (1989, 12 Mute 89) — 12″ Maxi‑Single — VG+/NM‑
Drama! is the 1989 12‑inch maxi‑single from Erasure, released on Mute as catalogue number 12 Mute 89 and issued in a custom picture sleeve. The single was released ahead of the duo’s album Wild! and reflects the high‑energy, richly produced synth‑pop sound that defined Erasure’s late‑1980s output. The sleeve features the original retail HMV price sticker, a period detail that adds a touch of authentic provenance to the copy.
This UK pressing presents well, with the sleeve showing minor edge wear and light creasing, consistent with careful handling and typical storage for glossy late‑80s picture sleeves. Colours remain bright, the artwork is clean, and the sticker is intact. The vinyl itself is in excellent condition: the heavy‑gloss Mute pressing looks pristine, with a visual grade of Near Mint‑ and clean playback. Labels are bright and free from writing or marks.
A strong example of a classic Erasure 12‑inch, retaining both its original presentation and a desirable period retail sticker.
